Microsoft Camcorder

I am unable to find Microsoft Camcorder on my Office XP
pro cd's and I need the program so I can convert a
PowerPoint presentation to an AVI file. What am I doing
wrong or is it no included. Can I download from my old
windows 97 or 200 cd and use in XP?

mscam.exe can be loaded from the Office 97 CD under the Value Pack.

Hi Jim,

MS Office Camcorder was discontinued after Office97.
It doesn't always play well with other apps on your
system that may provide similar features.

You may want to check with the folks in the
Powerpoint newsgroup on other options.
