Microsoft Clip Gallery

We are seeing a problem with how ofice xp organizes its
clip art collection. We are seeing this in several
classrooms. What is happening when you go to microsoft
clip art organizer it scans the computer, ads the clip art
to a list, then its done. well what we are seeing is the
files are not the same from machine to machine. These
machines are generally running off of the same image from
RIS. We cant figure out why we would get some that have
the pictures and why some dont have them. This can be a
serious problem because this is a college and the students
go by the books that are written for the classes. On most
computers the images they use in the book are the same but
on other computers those same files cant be found. Any
help would be appreciated. Also we have gotten errors in
the past when the clip art organizer is running it says it
cat contact microsoft. Does the organizer get another
list from microsoft, just kinda curios on that one.
Thanks for your time

Microsoft Clip Organizer (not to be confused with the legacy product
Microsoft Clip Gallery) offers Web Collections of images which are on the
Microsoft web site.

Rather than having Clip Organizer scan the computer for images, you're far
better off creating a Shared Collection on your network.

describes one way of doing this in an academic setting.
