Microsoft Document Imaging changes application's default directory

I am using Microsoft Document Imaging (included in Microsoft Office 2003) as
my "printer" for reports run within a Visual Fox Pro application. A
significant problem shows up when doing this, though. When the Document
Imaging printer driver saves the print output, it changes the default
directory in the VFP application to the directory where Document Imaging
saved the print output. Therefore, subsequent efforts to open files in VFP
return an error that the file cannot be found, because it is now looking in
the wrong directory. The application is then terminated mid-stream, and has
to be re-opened.

HELP! Is there anyway to prevent Document Imaging from resetting the VFP
application's default directory.
