Microsoft Document Imaging Format (.mdi file)

David

I'm trying to view a .mdi file on a machine running
Office XP. I have created the document using my own PC
running Office 2003 but I can't view the doc on other
computers. Is there a standalone viewer that I can use??

Regards,
David.

Hi David,

The .MDI format is a MS developed derivative of the TIFF
format, but isn't viewable outside of MS Office Document Imaging.
For MS Office XP Document Imaging is an optional install
through the Microsoft Office choice in Add/Remove Programs
in the Windows Control Panel.
