Microsoft - Email question

D

Dave

We're running SBS 2003 server. We're finding that a lot more of our business
is done via emails. As a result our email accounts are getting larger.
Legally we can't just delete emails when the jobs end. We don't have the
time (or space) to save every email. Is there an inexpensive program that
will work with Exchange? Is there a simple way to save emails to a folder on
our file server?

Aloha Dave,

Couple of options -- you can use AutoArchive in Outlook to archive older
items off. Or, if it's project-based, when the project is complete export
all of the e-mail related to that project to a PST file. Then you can copy
that PST file to the server (and I'd probably burn it to a CD as well).
