In Entourage preferences --> Notifications, try resetting confirmation
dialogs. This has never come up before so I'm guessing here.

It's all notifications AFAIK.

Not all preferences are stored in the User's library. Some are actually in
the database. To verify that, you could try creating a new Identity in
Entourage and test the PDF there. If that doesn't work, create a new User in
System Preferences, open Entourage in a new Identity and test the PDF. If
that works, next move the Identity you use to Shared so you can test it in
the new User. If the alert works in the new User then you know it's
preferences. If it doesn't then it's in the database. (Be sure to move it
back from Shared when you are finished or Entourage will open in a new blank
Identity. Also when you drag from Shared to the new User's MUD folder it
copies.)

In the User/Library.....You could search for all that start with
"com.microsoft" and delete those. There is also a Microsoft folder in
Preferences that you could try deleting. It contains the user dictionary so
be sure to add that file back.

created a new user.. setup an account and resend the problematic email with the pdf from another computer on to this new user. Entourage now will ask..

Microsoft Entourage wants to use "x" fonts on the volume "y"

now how can I make this to the other account that has been setup not to ask?

I believe that this is an OS issue. In the problematic profile, open Font
Book and go to the preferences. Make sure you still have Font
Auto-Activation turned on.

You could also just copy fonts that it is asking for to either of these
folders:
<USER>/Library/Fonts
/System/Library/Fonts

Good Luck,
Justin

Just to be clear. You set up a new User account in System Preferences.
Started a new Identity in Entourage and it works correctly. If yes, then you
need to test your old Identity to determine if it's in the User's
preferences or if it's in the Identity.

Drag your Identity folder to Shared when in your old User's folder.
Switch to the new User and drag (it copies) the Identity folder to the
Microsoft User Data folder in Documents. Open the Identity to see if the
problem still exists.
If yes, then the preference is in the database. If no, then it's a
preference file.

Remember to drag your Identity folder back after testing from Shared.

Justin,

thanks for the suggestion I have not copy the font's on the new user..im going to try that later.. however we do not want to install the fonts on every client that we send out this pdf just to preview the pdf in entourage.

Diane,

yes I created a new user.. created new identity and set everything up.. I'll try what you suggest and see what happens..
