Hey,

I have a problem with Microsoft Equation. When i make an equation with - in
it, the equation does not show the -. It appears as a space instead of a -.
Strange thing is that if i highlight the space it does say - but when i
unhighlight it again it dissapears again.

Anyone has any solution for this. Im using Windows xp professional.

Greetings,

This is caused by a font problem -- most often the specific font
problem is that you have set your Styles incorrectly. With Equation
Editor open, click on Style > Define. Make sure these styles are set
to Symbol font: L.C.Greek, U.C.Greek, and Symbol.

If that doesn't solve the problem, you most likely have a corrupted
Symbol font.
