microsoft equation

Does anyone know if office xp for students and teachers
comes with microsoft equation? In the professional
edition, word has this ability but i have not been able
to locate it on my student edition. It makes typing
proofs and math assignments easier.

All versions of Word should have the equation editor - it may not have been
installed. Re run setup from add& remove programs and add it.
