Trying to access an Excel Spreadsheet from the network (share) - and it giving me the following error message
"***.xls" File format is not valid

I have tried copying the file and re-opening it and does not work

Any ideas

Much appreciated.

best guess (assuming you are using Excel program to access this file):
file corrupted.
