"Microsoft Exchange Server" Information Service disappeared

We are running Win2000 Terminal Services with Citrix Metaframe. We are
publishing the entire desktop and have Outlook 2000 installed. Somehow, the
"Microsoft Exchange Server" Information Service in now gone from one of our
Citrix servers. This means that when somebody needs ther mail services
reset, we have to have them log off and log on to a different server so that
we can re-add the Exchange Server part of their email profile. I have tried
an Office repair with a reboot. I have tried renaming the appropriate dlls
as mentioned in Technet for reinstalling this service (emsmdb32.dll,
emsui32.dll, emsuix32.dll, and emsabp32.dll) and then running the Office
repair. I have tried finding references to these dlls in the registry and
comparing a working server to the non-working server, but there were no
differences.

How do I get the "Microsoft Exchange Server" Information Service back in the
outlook "Add Information Service" dialog box?

Have you verified that Outlook is still running in CW mode and not in IMO or
No Mail mode?

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data

Outlook is running in the correct mode. Users can get to their mail, and as
long as their outlook profile is set to connect to Microsoft Exchange Server
before they log in, it works fine. However, if we have to remove the
Exchange Server Information service and re-add it, we can not, because the
Exchange Server Information Service is no longer in the list of Information
Service options.

Hi,
I too have this issue on a citrix server. Did you find a resolution
besides a reinstall of office?
cheers
Rob
