Hi,
Currently using: Mac OSX 10.2.6 and on a LAN
1)
I just updated Entourage to utilize my company's Microsoft Exchange
Server however i'm unable to view my company's global address list.
I'm using the name of our exchange server in the LDAP settings but I
cannot view the directory.
My IT dept. hasn't been very clear on the matter & plus I'm the lone
Entourage user. They say that they may not be compatible or may not
use a LDAP server.
Can anyone shed some light on this matter? Does the Search Base field
have to be exact? I may not be entering the exact directory.
2)
My Entourage sees all the Microsoft News Groups but will not download
individual news Groups...
I get the following message:
Could not retrieve mail from the account "Microsoft Newsgroups."
A connection failure has occurred.
Does my company have to have a specific port open. My IT dept. say
they're not blocking newsgroups.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
