I have a PC which was used with a microsoft Exchage server utilising Exchange
2003. I stopped using exchange but could still see it detailed in the email
accounts along with my private POP and SMTP accounts. I backed up to a .pst
files then ugraded to Microsoft office professional 2007. Outlook 2007
refuses to start as it tries to import the files and profiles, after a short
time itinforms me it cannot conntec to the Exchange Server, the program then
closes down. I then completely removed outlook 2003 and 2007, then
reinstalled 2007, thinkiing i would have a fresh install, but it attempts the
import again with the same results. Help. If I try and revert to a checkpoint
on my system to before the upgrade I get a windows installer patch package
error. This I have tried to fix with a register repair program, no luck. Any
thoughts as to how I can solve this issue. If I can get 2007 up and running
can I import the .pst from 2003 or will that again brng in the exchange
server. Sorry for the essay
