Just installed MS Office 2004 mac (11.0) on new MacBook (Leopard 10.5.2) and
when I start Word or Excel (probably other tools also) & I get:
"An unexpected error occurred whie trying to
load the Microsoft Framework library."
What does this mean?
I then tried to get updates (perhaps several to get to Version 11.4.?
trying a new tack, now I get a message from MS AutoUpdate "You cannot open
the application “Microsoft AutoUpdate†because it is not supported on this
architecture."
Does this all mean that I can't use Office 2004 on new MacBook? It does
appear that I can, since i can get a new document, I can type on it, Save it
to desktop. So I assume I will be able to use normally. What does framework
Library do? I am not able to find any help avenues with MS's website? Any
ideas?
Any help wold be appreciated.
Please excuse me, but I have to teach tomorrow, so will not be able to stay
on any longer. But will get back tomorrow evening (hopefully the (Notify me
of replies) button below will be helpful.
