Microsoft front page stopped working.

My front page got corrupted somehow and now when I try to open my web
I get the message server timed out 4 times. Tried to re-install
office 2000 but the fault remains. How can i use front page again?
Having to use dreamweaver now and find it too complicated.

Download FP Cleaner from http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and,
with FrontPage closed, run the routines that:
Delete the hidden Web Cache Files
Delete the hidden Temporary Files

Since you have used FTP (Dreamweaver) also repair or re-install
FrontPage extensions on the live website.

The time-out messages *may* be because the website has grown too large
for the server. A busy shared server (with possibly hundreds of
websites) may not be able to cope with large websites - how large
depends on the server itself. One solution to this is to divide the
website into subwebs if the host will support subwebs, however each
subweb is treated by FrontPage as a completely independent website which
requires its own theme, include files, navigation, shared borders (if
you use any of these FrontPage components).
