Microsoft graph chart

I am working with Access 2000 and I try to create graph using depth (x axis)
and other value for y axis. I want to display this graph in a report but I
have trouble to create it. First how can I set my x and y axis to be my max
and min value of my data?

Second, how can I see the changes I make without re-creating the chart all
the time. When I look in preview, the chart looks different from when I am
in design view! Why?! Is there a tutorial somewhere on using microsoft
graph chart?

At this point any hints or comments on how to make a chart and edit a chart
would help.
