Hi Girl,

It may not have been installed (it's an optional component). Check your Microsoft Office 2003 or MS Publisher 2003 item in
Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel and see if it's available through the 'advanced' features choices.

Note that you use File=>Print, not File=>Save to work with MS Office Document imaging and that the TIFF files it creates are grey
scale, low resolution, for use as faxes. You can print to a .MDI file type with MS Office Document Imaging Writer and from there
save as TIFF and then you have a choice to have color TIFF files.

Hey Bob!
I think I may have accidentally deleted the Image Writer because I did not
know what it was. If I did it would have been sev. weeks ago. I looked in
recycle bin/ not there. Is there a way to retrieve it? Or is there a way to
download it? I need to save something so that a commercial printer can open
it even if they don't have Publisher 2003

Hi Girl,

If you have the CDs you should be able to reinstall it from the Microsoft Office listing in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows
control panel. It's not a downloadable addon though.

For creating the TIFF file for a commercial printer though you may want to look at 3rd party software that does print to graphics
files or converts files to TIFF. (In the latter category you may want to look at http://omniformat.com )
