Microsoft Invoice Template and Unfriendly Macros

Bill

I'm using the Invoice template that comes with Excel 2000. I'm trying to
enter a negative number (to represent a discount) and I keep getting a popup
called "Unit Price" that says "You must enter a number into this cell". I've
tried disabling macros, reformatting the cell - nothing works.

Is anyone familiar enough with this template to tell me how to allow both
positive & negative numbers in cells?

"Bill",

In my version, K18:K34 have data validation. You can remove or adjust this
via Data >> Validation, seems to still work OK.

HTH,
