Microsoft Live Workspace Add-In, is something I am experimenting with but its a shame there is no Office 2008 Plugin, as its difficult to collaborate cross platform.

Anyone heard any news on a Mac add-in

Hi

Add-ins don't work in Office 2008 due to the lack of Visual Basic for
Applications. It would probably work in the next full release of
Office, when VBA returns.

Use the Help > Send Feedback option from your favorite office program to
let Microsoft know that you are interested in using such an add-in.

Well let's say they need to be re-written using different approaches for
Office 2008...
