Microsoft no longer Supporting FP extensions

I was just informed this morning that Microsoft is no longer supporting
FrontPages extensions, and that the only way I would be able to publish to
the hosting service was with ftp. Does the new Microsoft Web-designer have
the same issues of having extensions turned on or not.

Microsoft is not supporting the extensions anymore, but that doesn't mean
your host can't use them anymore. If they choose to discontinue them, then
you'll have to use FTP whether using FrontPage or EWD.

Joe:
That message says: Termination of support for Frontpage Extensions on Linux
accounts - which doesn't surprise me.

I am concerned about hosts removing the extensions from their Windows
servers.
