Microsoft Office 2000 small businesses

I had a problem and someone advised me to uninstalli
Office 2000 small businesses to allow Word to run
properly. After this made no difference, I tried to re-
install Office (with correct certificate number), it would
not load properly and gave "Internal Error 2349 ....".
Please help
