I am taking an online course and need to identify if my sentences are in the
active or passive voice. My instructor says his Grammer checker catches and
identified all the mistakes (passive instead of active), yet my Grammer
checker does not. The Readability statistics indicate the % of the sentences
that are passive, yet doesn't identify which they are. Can my version
identify the passive sentences or must I update?????

While I have to worry about the merits of any course that relies on a
computerised grammar checker, have you checked which grammar options are
checked in tools > options > spelling and grammar ?
