Microsoft Office 2000

Hello! I was just attempting to install Microsoft Office
2000. I currently have Windows XP. After entering the
product key number, a message popped up saying that it
could not locate and qualifying information, then asked
me where it could find qualifying information. The places
it offered me were my C,D,E, and I believe A drives. What
does qualifying information mean, and where would I find
it? Does my computer even have it?

It sounds like you are trying to install an "upgrade" version of Office 2000
which requires a previous qualifying product ,such as Office 97, in order to
qualify for the upgrade. If you do not have a previous version of Office
installed, or have the installation CD for the previous version, you must
install a "full version" of Office 2000.
