Can I use Microsoft Publisher 2007 to upgrade my Office 2000 or do I need to
purchased the whole Office 2007 upgrade?

To clearify, I currently have microsoft office 2000 small business installed.
The only upgrade I'm interested in is Publisher. Can I just upgrade that or
do I need to install the office small business upgrade?

Do you have a previous version of Publisher installed?? If yes then no problem. If no then you cannot.

I do not remember if Office 2000 Small Business had Publisher

You can use Office 2000 SBE as an upgrade to Publisher 2007 standalone
package. See: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX101754511033.aspx
for a list of qualifying products for the upgrade. Scroll down to MS
Publisher.

Make sure that your operating system can handle Office '07 products which
are Win XP SP2 or above, Vista or Windows Server 2003. A lesser operating
system and you won't be able to install the package. System requirements
are at this web site:

Amazon currently has Publisher upgrade for $83.99 + free shipping. They
have the full upgrade package for Office SBE 2007 for $199.99 and $6.35
shipping. Would it be worth it to you to upgrade the entire Office 2000 SBE
to '07 SBE for an additional $123 over the lone upgrade for Publisher, only
you can tell.
