Microsoft Office 2003 autorecover error

Hi,

Im new to Microsoft Office 2003, but my computer just crashed and I get the
following error when opening the autorecover document.

Word experienced an error trying to open the file. Try these suggestions.
*Check the file permissions for the document or drive
*Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space
*Open the file with the text recover converter.

At all times the product was completely up to date and the error happened
after my system hung up. I have tried both open and repair and text recovery
options. I could post the file with the problem if anyone thinks they can get
the text out. Thanks for any help you can give me,

If you have Norton ANti Virus, clear the Office Plug-in option.

If that fails, then use the Word Open and Repair option to open the
document.

If that fails, use the recover text from any file option.
