Since upgrading to Office Professional 2003 from 2002, when I use Microsoft
Office Document Scanning to scan in printed text and OCR it, I get an error
message when I try to save it in Word in RTF format. Saving as HTML is the
only formatting that works.
The error message is "An error was encountered while trying to send text to
Word. Please verify that Word is properly installed."
Help produces the following:
The process of sending text to Word is taking too long and cannot be
completed. Verify that Word version 2000 or later is installed and working
on your computer. If so, send a smaller selection of text or select a few
pages at a time instead of sending all of the text in the document at once.
