Microsoft Office 2003 Professional installation error

Hi There.
I have recently purchased Microsoft Office 2003 Professional edition.
I have 2 computers. I managed to successfully install Office onto that
one.
It works perfectly. However, on the one I am using now (Microsoft
Windows XP Media Center) does not let me past the product key
verification page.

This is what happens.

I insert my Office setup disk
An orange screen comes up with a selection of products.
I click on Office 2003.
The setup prepares.
My key is already entered in the boxes.
I check it.
It is correct.
I click on next.
The setup box dissappears.
A screen appears saying:

MICROSOFT OFFICE SETUP DID NOT COMPLETE SUCCESSFULLY. WE ARE SORRY FOR
THE INCONVENIENCE.
An error occoured during the installation, and Setup was unable to
complete.
PLEASE TELL MICROSOFT ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.
_What_data_does_this_error_report_contain?_

And if I click on 'What data does this error report contain', it comes
up with:
Error signature----------------------------------------------
EventType : office11setup P1 : {90110409-6000-11d3-8cfe-0150048383c9}
P2 : 11.0.5614.0 P3 : skured P4 : 0 P5 : x P6 : x P7 : x
-and then loads of writing!-

Would someone be able to help me!

Thank-you :)

P.S : I have searched loads of places on this website and others and
they all come up with the same problems and all of them include
Microsoft Office installed. I DO NOT have Microsoft Office installed.
My other computer had Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, Microsoft Money
and loads more programs.
Thank-you for your support.

I bought this package that includes office and front page and viso and
project.

I click on office, enter my product key and the error appears.

1. What error?

2. Office Pro 2003 did not include Front Page and Visio. IIRC, no version of
Office 2003 came with those two programs. Where did you get your copy?

It was a multi all in one.
Where you get office and viso and frontpage and project.
None of them can install plus it was a lot of money.

Can we please focus on the actual error

Sure we could focus on the error, but we remain mysified as to where you
obtained this cd, since it doesnt appear to be an official MS cd

I know.
It was this special package that I bought.
The package included 4 cds, one with each of the programs on.

Thank-you for replying.
I will have a look.

Microsoft Office 2003 will not install because of files\setup\setup.ini

Hello I would like to get some help and assistance from anyone that can
help me with this problem that I have in re-installing Microsoft Office
2003 to my home computer (DELL DIMENSION 2400) Here is the situation, I
placed the CD Rom in my computer and a message appears on my screen
saying that the file: FILES\SETUP\SETUP.INI is missing and/or misplaced.
I cannot install Microsoft Office 2003 on my computer until this is
fixed. Does anyone have a solution and/or an answer that can help me in
my dilemma.

And if you cancel the install, and examine the contents of the cd via
explorer and double click 'setup' what happens?

Nothing it just keeps telling me the same phrase cannot install because
"FILES\SETUP\SETUP.INI is missing and cannot continue. I tried
downloading and installing it another way by way of opening the CD and
going to each file individually, I got really close to installing but I
ran into another problem, now the computer tells me that I need file
"YT561401.CAB" in order for the complete installation to take place. I
am still liking for this "YT561401.CAB" file to see if I could upload
Microsoft Office 2003 that way. If anyone has any simple suggestions
and/or answers that can help me with this serious problem and/or dilemma
please let me know.
