Hi! I have read the prior posts on this issue (which I could find) and my
problem seems to be different. The three recommended updates will download (
both the short and the full file versions) however they won't install. I
did try Microsoft's registry editor solution which didn't help. The log
seems to indicate that the problem is that the update can't find Microsoft
Access 2000 SR-1 Runtime. I also see an error 1309 and a "configuration
failed". There also is a reference to "Verify that the file exists and that
you can access it." I found a program by that name in "Add or remove
programs" and tried both to repair (didn't work) and reinstall (which says it
reinstalled successfully). Still can't install SP1 update. Does anyone have
any ideas? What is M.A. 2000 SR-1 Runtime and where should it be located?
