Microsoft Office 2003 Word and Excel

Just within the last week both Word and Excel have started to continually
flicker. It's as if they are restarting, the Vista system working blue
circle (timer) keeps flashing on and off. Does anyone have an idea on how to
stop this?

Hello Elaine,

Not really -- because you've landed in a discussion group for users of Mac
versions of Word (not your fault: it's a charming foible of MS's
"discussions" web interface, which I see you used). Mac versions differ
variously from PC versions. Although several people here use both PCs and
Macs and may give you an answer soon, it's likely that more people in a PC
group have experienced your specific problem. Here's where all the groups

Make sure you mention the status of your updates (Office and Vista) when you
post there.
