microsoft office 2004 for macintosh

what is the difference between microsoft office 2004 standard edition and the
student/teacher edition. The standard costs $400 and the student costs $149.

Academic pricing, education versions can not be upgraded, you need to
qualify to use the software. The feature sets are the same as the regular
version

The Windows version can't be upgraded. I'm assuming the same holds true for
the Mac version. Plus you need to meet the criteria for the Students and
Teachers edition.
