Microsoft Office 2007: 2009 or 2010 Version in the Near-future?

Hello,

I've been contemplating a purchase of Microsoft Home and Student 2007 (right
now, I have 2003), particularly for OneNote 2007. However, where I live, it
retails for about $150.00. Is there any news of Microsoft releasing a 2009 or
2010 version of Office? If so, I would rather wait a few months for the new
one. Many, many thanks.

Hi JoAnn,

I see. Well, if I buy Office Home and Student 2007, tomorrow, say, do you
forsee any type of discount from Microsoft if a new version comes out in a
year? I appreciate the help.

Not for at least a year.

Amazon has it for $89.

No. I have seen them do something like that for Windows but not Office. But
I wouldn't count on anything a year from date of purchase.
