When i save a document or power point presentation and go back later to make
changes or add something,it will not save my changes does anyone know why?

Mary,

You've asked this question in a newsgroup for Microsoft Project. You
may wish to repost in the newsgroup for Microsoft PowerPoint (a
different product and user community).

Taht being said, when you ask the question, suggest you give a bit more
infomration, e.g. what the error message is? I suspect the problem is
because:
1. you have to tell PowerPoint to save the file and if you don't, it
may not save the file
2. your user ID has to have sufficient permissions to write the file
into the folder where you directed the save.
3. you may not be opening the actual file that you previously saved.

You should find a newsgroup dealing with those applications.

When you post there, you should also try and give some more useful
information. What actually happens? Is there an error message and if
so, what does it say? Does the application appear to have saved the
work but in reality it hasn't.

You should also give some information about the architecture you are
using. Are you saving locally or across a network. It sounds to me as
though you are saving to a USB key or other removable device but not
ejecting it properly.
