microsoft office access can't send this e-mail message

Several users running Microsoft Office 2007 on WinXP with Outlook in a
Microsoft Exchange Server environment get the following message while in
Access 2007 and they click on | File | Send |
Microsoft Office Access can't send this e-mail message
Before attempting to send an e-mail message from Microsoft Access, resolve
the problem identified in the previous message, or configure your computer to
send and receive e-mail messages.

The users say they received no previous message, they don't get a chance to
Allow/Deny the action.
