OK, this seems kind of odd. My laptop computer has Windows
XP on it and I put office XP on it that I got from my
school through the MSDNAA program. It seems to work
perfectly unless I disconnect the ethernet cable from the
computer. Then it almost instantly crashes in all of the
programs as soon as you start them. Plug it back into the
ethernet and it works again. Why would it do this? For that
matter, why would an office suite be connecting to the
internet at all? I can't even start typing a word document
before it starts to crash. This kind of defeats the
purpose of a laptop.
