Microsoft Office Document Imaging not able to import document

I have installed MS Office Home and Student edition 2003 in my lap operating
on window vista home premium (64-bit). The installation is successful, but
when I tried to import a word document into microsoft office document
imaging, a dialogue box appear that states," Microsoft document image writer
is not installed. Please uninstall and then reinstall the microsoft office
document imaging application."

So I tried to unstall and reinstall for a few times. This same problem
occurs. I have no problem in using the microsoft office document imaging
software in my previous laptop operating on windows vista home premium (32
bit).
