I have MODI printer installed (haven't got proper one) - It was installed as
part of Office 2003
Each time I print to it it creates mdi file which opens in MODI
What I can't understand is why MS have gone to ridiculous lengths to prevent
..mdi files being opened with MODI
mdi files are not associated with MODI - they are just left as orphan files
on my PC
If I right-click mdi file there's no 'Open with' - just 'Open'
In the properties of MODI shortcut the 'open file location' is greyed out
The .exe file is not easily identified
I know my way around computers but I'm find it very difficult (not done it
yet) to associate .mdi files with MODI (the 'only' program that will open
them)
