When I scan a document with the document imaging software and try to send it
to Microsoft Word by using the text to word button,I get a message that says
"An error was encountered while trying to send to word." Anyone have any
ideas and I have also tried to reinstall and repair office.I even tried to
logon as a different user to no avail word will open but no document
inside, the error message is usually behind the word window.

MS document Imaging

HI Everybody,
I need to automate ms document imaging using visual basic. Can any one help in this regards is really appreciated.
I have open the doucument imaging through vb. But i didn't know how to open tif file and do OCR and also how to get the result in document.
Manually i did the following things,But cant do the same via Visual Basic
1. Open document imaging
2. Open tif or mdi file
3. Go to tools ---> Recognize text using OCR
4. Then select "Send text to word"
Finally i got the result in the extension of .htm

Expecting your all cooperation in this regards.

Thanks in advance,
V.Vivek
