MICROSOFT OFFICE DOCUMENT SCANNING NOT SEEING EPSON SCANNER

Some time back the Microsoft Office Tools -Document Scanning part of my WORKS
SUITE 2002 used to work OK with my Epson Perfection 1240U , but it won`t now.

I have tried un-installing the whole Works Suite AND the scanner driver,
cleaning the reg with Reg Healer, and then re-installing everything but it
refuses to work at all.

However WORD works fine with the scanner and see`s TWAIN, also Adobe
Photoshop Elements 2 works fine with my scanner.

I have the latest Office updates, and XP updates including SP2 (it didn`t
work before SP2 either).

Hope someone can solve this for me.

ng = newsgroup.

You posted to an Office newsgroup (ng) but you indicate your problem is with
Works. Few users of Office are familiar with Works.
Post your question to a Works Newsgroup (ng) where the people who use Works
hang out...
