Microsoft Office Groove-Necessary?

Is Groove necessary in the Office 2007 program? I am not on a network.

I'd like to delete anything that I don't use to save disk space.

The only parts of any Office installation that are necessary are the ones that fit your particular needs :) In the Windows control
panel, Add/Remove programs select the Microsoft Office choice and you can set features/apps you aren't going to use to 'not
available' state.

Note, that since a lot of Office shares core files that the disk savings may not be much.
