Microsoft Office Has Encountered A Problem!

Whenever I try to save a Microsoft Word 2007 document I get an error message:

"Microsoft Office Word has encountered a problem and needs to close. ..."

If I uncheck the box to the left of the phrase "Recover my work and restart Office Word, and if I left click on "Don't Send Error Report" my document closes. Better still, when I return a little later I can see that Word has saved my work.

So far, I have tried uninstalling my AntiVirus package. This gesture made no difference. What do I do?

Dear OTPM-
How dangerous is that? Be aware some of my docs are doc.x format and some are in the old doc format. (Because I convert some of my essays to EPUB files and Kindle friendly MOBI files). Is repair off the menu on Microsoft Word 7? Would I have to insert the install CD disc? (I have the disc and my product key, FYI)
