Microsoft - Office & Notebook Service pack 1 in loop, download, i

This PC has gone into a service pack one update loop for Office 2003. It will
download the update service pack one for office 2003 and Notebook, install it
and then find it again. The service pack is installed successfully.

Has anyone else successfully fixed this problem in the past?
