Microsoft Office OneNote non commercial use (Not Reponding)

H

hughadam

I'm getting this message at the very top blue menu.
When I do almost every function. Move, Copy, etc.

I'm a total newbie to OneNote but love the program. I will save a small
forest of trees because I printed and filed every article I came accross.

I'm using the program mostly as replacement of paper copies in folders.
News articles, investment articles, on-line statements and bills, etc. Maybe
25 per day. but it's very slow and I just purchased a new computer system.

Any thoughts? I've already changed sync to "offline" because I'm a solo user.

Thanks

Hi Hugh,

Are you using the Microsoft Home & Student Edition of One Note?
What edition of Office are you using?

So your issue is not that you have the home and student version, but rather
the "not responding" piece.
Are any of your notebooks shown as being synced? I mean, do they have a
round icon with two arrows in it next to its label?

Yes, I have the home and student version!!!

I received another post with a similar answer.
Do I need to purchase a different type of office 2007? Easy enough.
I also had the software tech reinstall office 2003, I was having truble with
learning the new Excel format for the first month, but I haven't had 2003
office uninstalled.

Thanks so much, I will try anything at this point, One Note is fantastic.

No, you dont need to purchase anything else. It doesn't matter that you have
the Student & Home version.
Can you answer my actual question please:
Are any of your notebooks shown as being synced? I mean, do they have a
round icon with two arrows in it next to its label?
