Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 Edit Site: Project Server log

I have moved my project database from an old server to a new server. When I
use EditSite to verify the settings, The "Database" test fails. Result
information: The Project Server login failed. Please check your connection
information.

Please advise or recommend a better way to move existing project information
from the old server to a new server.

Thanks in advance

Did you add users to the new server that have the right roles? The
installation instructions should have a section that talk about sql
logins and sql roles needed for the database. This is the thing most
people forget when moving to a new server.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have added the sql logins and roles as
required. However, some of the user settings are different for the old and
new server. ie. database creation account. ie. old server: sa, new server:
administrator because the 2 servers were setup by different people. Will this
change in settings make a difference as well?
Thanks!
