It is on your Office CD and should be available if you put in the CD when it
is requested.

Milly,

Is the proret.msi the same and is there any way to get
around this? I have looked through my stacks of CD's and
cannot locate my Office XP.

Best regards,
Mike

Hi Mike,

The MS Installer expects to have access to the
original source media/install location.

Proret.msi is retail - Microsoft Office XP Professional

Proplus.msi is non-retail (enterprise only)
Microsoft Office XP Professional w/Frontpage

If you have an OEM copy of MS Office XP you can
contact the PC supplier for a replacement CD, if
it's a boxed retail copy you can contact MS at
the numbers on http://microsoft.com/worldwide
(800-360-7561 in the U.S.)
