I have a Windows XP and Windows 2008 Clients accessing the same Microsoft
Office SharePoint Server 2007 site and attempting to use "Team OneNote
Library". With Onenote on the Wincows XP client I can successfully connect
to the shared one note but on my Windows 2008 client I receive "OneNot cannot
find the file specified".
When I click on the OneNote entry on the "Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
2007 " site a "Windows Internet Explorer" window pops up stating
"You are opening the following file:
File Name: xxxxx - Team Activities.one"
From: <System Name>:18936
The OneNote application comes up with a "Microsoft Office OneNote" dialog
box with a button for "Open Notebook" or "Open Section". I press the "Open
Notebook" option.
I then receive a "Microsoft Office Onenote" dialog box that states "OneNote
cannot find the file you specified".
This process works fine on my Windows XP client but not on the Windows 2008.
Thanks for any help,
Steve
