I have MS Office XP Professional installed on my computer. I recently
purchased a new computer. For some reason the MS Shortcut Bar on my new
computer doesn't work the same way it did on my old computer.
First of all it says that the Shortcut Bar must have at least one folder to
run. It never said that on my old computer. I may be including the wrong
folder. My first question is: What folder should I use?
I've created it several times using Office 10. It works but I get a lot
more buttons than I want. The extra buttons is not the main problem. When I
reboot my computer the MS Shortcut bar is gone even tho I told it to alway be
on top. On my old computer the Shortcut bar always came back up. What am I
doing wrong?
Finally, the Office version I'm using is an upgrade from Office 97. The
shortcut bar in 97 always worked. Would it be possible for me to delete the
shortcut bar installed with Office XP and then install the Office 97 Shortcut
Bar?
