Microsoft Office Spawning of Tasks or Meetings

Is there a way to automatically spawn Microsoft Office Tasks or Meetings from
individual project items, or better yet, is there a way to tie a project item
to a meeting in Outlook. Also, can I automatically assign an outlook task to
someone from a project item? Thanks!
