microsoft office toolbar icons

how do I refresh my microsoft office toolbar?
the icons reflect the properties of the icons next to
each other. hold the cursor over an icon and it gives
you the name of the icon next to the one you are
selecting. How do I get my icons and their properties
back in sync? tia

Right click in an empty area of the toolbar and select Refresh
