Microsoft Office v.X

I am making up a brochure from the Microsoft Office v.X Business Forms
section. Everytime I try to put a picture on the brochure, the
picture ends up in the middle of the brochure instead of the areas
where pictures are supposed to go.

Can someone help me correct this?

where pictures are supposed to go.

Select your inserted image, and right-click (apple-left click) to
bring up the context menu for pictures, then select "Format Picture".

Select "Layout" tab in dialog box. Here you can set how the image
interacts with text. Selecting anything *but* "inline with text"
allows you to also select a radio button for Horizontal Alignment.

Click "Advanced..." to open up more options as to vertical alignment,
relative to your page./column etc.

Play with these, should get you there.
