Microsoft Office version statistics?

D

David

Hi everyone. I was trying to do a report on some statistics for Microsoft
Office usage. I was wondering is there a webpage or place I can find version
statistics for Microsoft Office?

Specifically, I wanted to know how many people used Microsoft Office and
which version they use the most (XP, 2003, 2007, etc). Or any other useful
statistics like these. Anyone know where I may find them?

Thank you!

Don't you hate when this happens. I always have to retype and then drives me crazy. On top of that I do not see it until I typed the answer and sometimes after my finger hit Send

I do - and it happens to me at work quite often. Some of the work I do
requires all caps and I've sent more than one email to my coworkers all
messed up like that. :)

I actually tried searching this on google, but no luck. The only closest
thing I found was old data on Excel users (circa 2003), but that was outdated
and the link does not seem to be working properly. Can you redirect me
somewhere? I figure Microsoft would have its own page of statistics or
something like that.

At best would be an ever changing number, and what value would Microsoft
receive from publishing it? Anything before 2003 is out of support. And
they don't sell 2003 anymore. You may find "snapshot" surveys, but they
would be invalid shortly after they were taken, and subject to large
errors. Perhaps you can can find any other company that publishes that
kind information for public consumption.
