Microsoft office XP Pro

I just bought a new computer and I am trying to install
Office XP Pro on it and it is coming up with an error
message of "Set up failed to locate a valid qualifying
product on your machine. Please select the drive where a
qualifying product can be found." Does anyone know
anything about this?

This message means that you have the Upgrade Version of Office XP Pro and,
in order to install it, you must own a prior version of the product.
"Qualifying products" are listed here:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/howtobuy/upgrading.asp

Now, if you DO own one of the "qualifying products" listed at the following
link but do not have it installed on your computer, just drag out the CDs or
diskettes for it and have them available while you install XP. When the
Office XP installer says it cannot find a qualifying product, insert CD1 or
Disk1 of the older product into the drive and point the installer to that
location. When the Office XP installer verifies the "qualifying product"
on CD or diskette, it will prompt you to re-insert the XP CDs to continue
your installation. After the installation is completed, you must keep your
"qualifying product" media with the XP media.
